   Site Requirements
audiolounge requires a number of key components on a clients computer, in order for it to operate correctly these are:
Windows Media Player 7+
Windows Media Player Security Upgrade
Browse IE7+ or Firefox

Internet Explorer 8

If you using Internet Explorer 8, you may need to allow ActiveX controls for the audiolounge site. When you initially open then audiolounge site, you will be prompted to run add-on "Windows Media Player", click the prompt, then select Run Add-on.

Mozilla Firefox

In order for audiolounge to operate in Firefox, you must install the Windows Media Player add-on, which can be downloaded Here.

Planned Future Support

audiolounge, in the future will have compatibility with Google Chrome. At present, there is no planned support for Mac.

How do I check which version of Windows Media Player I have?....


1. Open Windows Media Player - you can find it in the Start menu under Programs. (Alternatively, go to Run and enter wmplayer)
2. In the Help menu select About Windows Media Player.
3. The Version section will state your current Windows Media Player Version.

How do I enable JavaScript?....


Internet Explorer

1. Go to Tools then Internet Options
2. Click on the Security tab
3. Click on Custom Level
4. Scroll down until you see a section labelled Scripting
5. Under Active Scripting, select Enable and click OK


Mozilla Firefox

1. Go to Tools then Options
2. Click on the Content tab
3. Check the Enable JavaScript checkbox
4. Click OK

How Do I upgrade Windows Media Player?....

If you don't have Windows Media Player version 9 or later or want to upgrade, you can download it free of charge from Microsoft.

How Do I install the Windows Media Player security upgrade?....

The Windows Media Player Security Component upgrade is an update that allows you to play protected files on your computer. It is a mandatory upgrade for use with audiolounge.

To install the security upgrade, follow the instructions within the Security Upgrade page.

How do I ensure I have the correct Windows Media Player settings?....

Windows Media Player 10

If you don't have Windows Media Player version 9 or later or want to upgrade, you can download it free of charge from Microsoft.

1. Open Windows Media Player
2. Select the Tools menu and select Options
3. Click on the Privacy tab and make sure that Acquire licenses automatically for protected content is ticked before clicking on OK.

Windows Media Player 11

If you don't have Windows Media Player version 9 or later or want to upgrade, you can download it free of charge from Microsoft.

2. Select the Tools menu and select Options
3. Click on the Privacy tab and make sure that Download usage rights automatically when I play or sync a file is ticked before clicking on OK.

Subscription System Requirements

At the moment audiolounge only works on windows PC’s running Windows Media Player 7.x or above and Internet Explorer 7. We are working on other browsers such as Firefox and will make the announcement when these are available.

How does subscription work?

Subscription a payment that is taken monthly by us. Once you sign up for subscription and have access to the entire audiolounge catalogue of music for the month of the subscription. You don’t have to contact us to pay we take this automatically from your card, when you sign up for the subscription product.

Do I get a receipt for my subscription?

Yes you do. All payments from audiolounge.com will result in a receipt being sent to your registered email address.

What happens if I lose my subscription and music won’t play?

In the unlikely event that this happens then please go to the my account section, once you have logged in, and choose manage cards and subscriptions from the menu. There is an option to re-issue the license please click on the GO button and this will provide a new license. You have 5 attempts so each time you need to re-issue, one attempt will be deducted. If you run out of attempts then please contact support@audiolounge.com.

Which methods of payment are accepted by audiolounge?

We accept the following credit cards: Mastercard, Maestro, Visa and Solo.

PayPal and mobile payment solutions will be coming soon

Do you store my credit card details?

If you purchased from us using a credit or debit card, the card information will be stored in encrypted form in relation to your account. This will mean that you will not have to re-enter the card details for your future purchases.

If you wish to have your credit/debit card details removed from your account, contact support@audiolounge.com.

Why do I have to give you my address details?

The content we sell is only available in certain countries so we use this information to ensure we are not in breach of any copyright.

I have forgotten my sign up email address and/or password.

How do I add or remove credit/debit card details?

To change the email address, password or other billing details associated with your account, please go to the Change Account Details Page.

To change your current card details used for subscription and download purchases please go to the Manage Cards and Subscriptions page.

Or choose my account from the home page and then go to manage cards and subscriptions.

Can I see what I have bought?

Yes you can if you choose my account, once you have logged in, and go to the account purchase history there is a log of everything you have bought.

   Using audiolounge

How do I create a playlist?

You can either add items to favourites by clicking the heart icon next to each track or album, and then in the favourites box there is an option to either create a new playlist from these favourites or add them to an existing playlist.

How can I add friends?

In audiolounge friends are called buddies and you can search for friends using the buddies box on the home page and click on the search tab. Enter all or part of the name of the person you are looking for and you can add any of those returned in the search results to your buddy list.

Can I share playlists that I create?

Yes you can. audiolounge allows you to share your playlists with as many of your friends as you wish. Once you have given your playlist a title and description you can select buddies to share with.

How do I connect to my friends and send messages?

If you have added some buddies then click on message next your buddies name and you can strike up a conversation.

   Downloads

Why can’t I play certain downloads on my Mac?

Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer all downloads in a Mac-friendly format. This is because we are required by some copyright holders to sell certain content in a protected format. We can only provide these downloads as DRM-protected Windows Media files, which are not Mac-compatible.

If the download you are having problems with is not a Windows Media file, please support@audiolounge.com, including the details of the download and the difficulties that you have experienced.

If there is something wrong with my download and I buy it again, will I get a refund for my original purchase?

Re-purchasing a download is very unlikely to solve the problem that you have encountered.

If you have any difficulty with a download, please contact support@audiolounge.com before you do anything else.
